MEDL Mobile Announces the Launch of the APP Incubator: Have a Great Idea for an iPhone App? Now You Can Profit from It

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2009 -- MEDL Mobile, Inc. ( medlmobile.com (http://www.medlmobile.com) ), creators of iPhone applications such as Doodle Chat (http://www.doodlechatapp.com) and inBetween (http://medlmobile.com/aps/inbetween.html), announces the creation of The App Incubator today at the Web 2.0 Expo. This iPhone application and companion website will enable anyone with an idea for a mobile application to submit an idea directly to MEDL's incubator. If the submission passes a series of tests and reviews, it goes into development and eventually production. All development and marketing costs are funded by MEDL Mobile and 25% of any profits go back to the originator of the idea. With some applications earning thousands and even tens of thousands of dollars a day, The App Incubator will allow people with great ideas for mobile applications to profit from their creativity.

"When I tell someone that we develop mobile applications, their first response is typically with an idea for a new app," said Andrew Maltin, MEDL Mobile CEO. "And many of them are really good ideas. We knew there had to be a way to tap into all of this great creativity."

Anyone with an idea can download the App Incubator iPhone app (currently "in review" on the app store) to their iPhone for free. If you don't have an iPhone - or prefer a regular keyboard - you can also submit an idea at appincubator.com (http://www.AppIncubator.com). There's even a "storyboard" tool that allows users to walk the reviewers through how the application will function.

People who submit ideas, or "developers" as they are known on The App Incubator, are asked to rank their applications according the same criteria by which MEDL will rate them; originality, simplicity, functionality, potential profit and fun. Expecting an influx of great ideas worthy of production, the company is committing $2.5 million dollars for development.

"We see mobile applications as the most exciting and profitable opportunity since the early dot com days." adds Maltin.

MEDL Mobile is also developing custom applications for third parties, advertising agencies and consumer brands.

In addition, MEDL Mobile is also actively recruiting iPhone developers and programmers. Employment opportunities can be found at medlmobile.com/join.html.
